On a near monthly basis Software Companies approach us with an “ISO Tool” asking to partner for a referral fee.

The truth is ISO standards are only a list of requirements your business must meet to be certified as having the processes in place to effectively & consistently manage your business whether it be quality, information security or environmental etc.

The list of requirements should be reviewed against your current operations & seen as a watershed, time out to identify opportunity for improvement to even more effectively & efficiently manage your business.

If you seperate out ISO requirements, or install an “ISO Solution” you may find you are only adding an extra & unproductive layer to your business. Similarly using a template system can be like trying to bang a square peg in to a round hole.

Meeting the requirements should only integrate improvement to your current operations – implementing ISO Standards correctly should make you more efficient, output exceding input – a benefit rather than a hindrance…
