As above Pluto can accredit Mickey Mouse but UKAS is still the only National Accreditation Body for the United Kingdom, appointed by government, to assess and accredit organisations that provide services including certification, testing, inspection and calibration - they are also a member of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and fully recognised by ISO.

Many positives actually emerged from the Pandemic. Necessity accelerated flexible hybrid working, reducing travel & childcare requirements, reducing our Carbon Footprints & subsequently invented Remote ISO Certification Audits.

Obtaining ISO Certification should be a mark that a company has achieved the requirements of an International Standard and is independently audited ongoing to ensure standards are maintained, however not all badges are equal & neither are all Certifications – Buyer Beware!
